August 18, 2008-
Hey yall, I wanted to update you music is coming!!! I just got the first draft of the first part of my CD, and I cant wait to share it with everyone. I will be releasing a single in the next week or two, and the CD will be released the beginning of October. It will be available in many places online and at all my shows. I am so super excited, and so humbled. It has been such a long trying road with so many mountains. Having a CD that is mine that I am proud of is un real, so surreal, so amazing so well worth all the crazy bumps in the road and shadows that are behind me!
I wanted to take a minute and thank a couple people that I couldn't have done this without.
Geoff, thank you for setting the fire under my booty, giving me the tools to do this and helping me find my incredible producer Lee.
Lee, thank you for listening to me, seeing my vision and always being honest. Your talent is un paralleled.
B, thank you for believing in dreams, there would be none of this without you! You bridged the gap between a dream and the reality of it coming true.
Nic & Lisa- Thank you for seeing the potential in me, thank you for sharing your talent of writing. Your songs helped mold this record into what it is. Thank you for opening your hearts to me.
Bub, thank you for loving me and supporting this crazy ride. You are an incredible person with open loving arms and patience of a saint. white.
Noll, I wouldn't even have made it this far without you, you are my muse, my rock, my inspiration to push on. You are amazing, your talent is unmistakable, and I feel honored to have you on my side, in my life, in this music. Thank you.
To everyone who has come out to every show, every silly open mic night or dead bar show, listens to me freak out before singing, pushes me when I fall and rocks out to whatever band or music I am singing. You make me do this everyday.
My friends and family who believe in me unconditionally, you push me to work hard and take chances without looking back or giving in and to FFTDS. You have taught me to love with open eyes, and accept who I am. I wouldn't be who I am without you. Thank you. I love you.
I will always keep pushing on, no matter what. No one will hold me back, or keep me down. I am breaking free, and moving forward. I love every person who believes in dreams and supports me. Thank you.
Love always *K
May 25, 2008- Hey everyone I just wanted to give a little update, as of now I am pursuing music on my own. I am writing with a few people, including part of the band, and I am going to be recording my own material some time in May if everything goes right. CountyLine is not done, we are just taking a break, some members had to go pursue other avenues which lead me to decide it's time to push my songs forward. I have a lot going on with work with it being an anniversay year so that keeps me going as well as my music.
My mom is going through some really heavy medical stuff right now, and that has been really hard on me and my family. I am praying everyday that it all works out, and that is a stretch for me but something's gotta help. I miss everyone I dont get to see much. I am going to be visiting Nashville at the end of April, I miss it so much and wann move right back everyday.
It's coming if everythign works out I could be there by the end of the year, its gonna be really hard leaving Milwaukee Harley and my family but I really believe it is where I belong!

December 28,2007- Hows it goinga, well things are really good with music. As you know I put a band together "CountyLine" we are rocking it out all over WI. We have a bass playa, John he is great. The people there are like family and I get to meet tons of new people and do things I have never done before. CountyLine will be playing at some point for events. I am very excited.
My family is good, and I just got to see Amy (Nashville) and Emily(LA) for a couple of days, it was fagreatsome(my made up word for fabulous, great, and awesome). Well not too much else new right now. Keep checking back we will be not playing as much in Jan and Feb we will be in studio and learning new music. Miss Yall.....see ya in 2008!!!

July 10, 2007 - Hello, it has been a little while. sorry about that, life has been crazy, I moved again....ya I know. The property I was living in was sold so now I am living with a friend of mine in Waukesha....I know ...sad NO lake!!!!!
Well we also have a full band, our drummer is Noll, he is in another band as well, and he is jugglin both bands and we are very fortunate to have him. He is fabulous, we play a lot of songs not exactly like how they were recorded and Noll is great at following along with us. We also have a bass player, I will let you know more about him in a few weeks as he just joined us and I dont know the whole scoop on him yet.
We are booking like crazy, and wanna keep booking throughout fall. As long as we are playing I canl;live in WI, as soon as we slow down I may have a large itch to be in another state(aka TN) I dont have too much else new, thanks to everyone who has been coming out to our shows, and anyone who has not had the chance to check us out, please do especially if you like to dance and have fun. Love you all.

March 22, 2007-
Hello all. Well I have some new stuff going on... Well I moved I live on the lake, no I am not rich it is actually the cutest little house and me and my roommate are getting it for a steal...you wouldn’t even believe it if I told you, my roomate is a doll he is an ex Marine of 6 years, and just moved back here from Cali he is not around a lot as he travels for work. . I have the whole house to myself no one above me or under me. Its fantabulous I can sing, dance put up pics all at midnight if I wanted and no one would care. I am working at Clear Channel Radio for the Brew and WRIT, and at the Wisconsin Athletic Cub in West Allis. I love both jobs they are not like working at all. I am also currently putting a band together well I take that back, we are putting a duo together. It started out a band and some things happened along the way and me and my guitar player (Brad) decided to just be me and him and do some small acoustic shows along the way and go from there. Brad is fantastic; we are writing and playing almost three times a week. He is a young in, but honestly one of the best guitar players and songwriters I have ever met. He has more talent in his one finger than anyone I have ever known. We are going to be playing soon, right now we are getting a set list together and it will be consisted of half originals (either written by him or the both of us together) and half covers. I have never been so excited for something in a long time. I think it will be amazing once we get going, I am still learning guitar, I am taking lessons from him. I will be playing when we play out.
We are entering the Colgate Country Showdown, and the first one is in Wind Lake at Kelly’s Bleachers I am not sure if we have gotten in that one but we are keeping our fingers crossed, Kelly’s is one of the largest country music venues in the state and it would be a great opportunity to get on that stage. A ton of new comers and great artists have played that stage. It was Little Big Towns first show in WI when "Boondocks" came out. We are going to need everyone and anyone that can come out to our shows, most shows you only get booked again if you bring a crowd....so once they start rolling in I would love to see EVERYONE!!!!! I also want to let you all know, thank you so much for all the kind words and sympathies I got in the last couple of months everything that happened to bring me home has gotten a lot better and we are moving forward with good news, its still a long road, and as you know other complications come along that have made the road to recovery not as easy, and it has been great with everyone’s support. I hope everyone is doing great, I miss all you Nashville people so much...there is really not a day that goes by that I don’t think of you..not exaggerating, and as soon as Amy gets her butt in gear I will be there to visit. Thank you again, and I will be posting shows on my website and myspace so stay tuned!!!!
March 1, 2007- Hello everyone!!! I am so excited to tell you that I have put a band together, we had our first practice and it went amazing. I have the greatest bass player I feel like I have known him my whole life. My rhythm player is amazing he is a youngin, but one of the greatest players. I only know the drummer and lead player a little but the whole group seems like it will be great! We have no dates set, or even know when we will be playing, however it’s started so that can only mean good things! Ill keep everyone posted!

December 1, 2006 - Hello. it has been awhile....Well I dont work at the Wildhorse anymore, we were going through a lot of management changes and I decided it was time to move on.
I am taking guitar lessons, and trying to practice an hour a day, my teacher is really patient which is great. I have learned four chords and I am getting better everyday!
I am exploring some options for forming a band and recording.....in Seatle. I havent decided anything yet...but we are looking for a drummer if you know of one!
Emily(best friend) is coming to stay with me for a while which will be amazing, we havent been in the same zip code in two years, so if anyone comes to visit you will get to see both of us!!! I hope everyone has a great holiday, it will not be the same being here, this will be the first christmas in 25 years that I will not be with my family. It will be different and hard, and I will miss you all....as I do every day of my life! Ok talk to you all soon, miss you, love you. Happy Holidays!!

October 4, 2006 - Hi everyone.....well production on my demo has ceased right now. I decided it really wasn’t what I wanted, I think that I need to focus on writing, and learning guitar. I wasn’t happy with the direction of where the songs were heading so I decided to walk away from that project for right now. So as of now, I have the two songs that are uploaded to the website, and I am writing some more, and going to focus on that. I am currently looking for another studio and/ or producer, if you know of anyone please let me know. I am also looking for a guitar, something that is kind of small and easy to learn on. I have been learning on my roommates guitar and it seems really uncomfortable and huge, so if you have any suggestions please contact me. I also really want to start playing out ASAP....its killing me to not be singing, I am looking into some new avenues of pursuing that so, I will keep everyone posted. Miss you all.

(Know anyone who wants to back me?) I have to come up with a lot of money to get it in my hands so it may be a month or so before....I have it, however, I am going to start on the second song on Saturday, I am way excited to have this be in the works. I have some people interested in booking me and gettin my music all the web and a real radio station. I just have to get the music to them as soon as possible so as soon as I do I will let everyone know where else my music will be. I miss everyone the Fourth will not be the same, I am going to catch the fireworks tonight on the river downtown. Love you all. Keep Dreaming!

So I have been here for almost three months, and I love it, this is definitly where I am supposed to be, I love my job and I have met a lot of wonderful people. Including some stars I got to meet and talk with Chris Cagle and he is a really down to earth great guy and hello way hot!!! I also met Shannon Brown ( Corn Fed), Amy Grant & Vince Gill who are really nice people as well, and Travis Stork (The Bachelor.) I have also gotten to see some really cool history making concerts! Well if you havent noticed I took down my demo, I am in the studio right now working on my demo, I am about to record the first song and hope to have that uploaded in the next three weeks or so. March 27, 2006 - Well I am here...Nashville, TN, I am settled in and I love it. I have already gotten to sing with two bands and I am working at the Wild Horse Saloon as a server and a soon to be bartender. I am renting a cute little house, and I am looking to put a band together. This is where I am supposed to be, I got to take a tour of the places Gaylord owns and one of the places is the Grand Ole Opry so I walked on stage and just lost it, it was amazing I was crying and my knees were shaking it was incredible. I got to sing as well, however, I could hardly make it through the song....too many emotions. It was and will be one of the best days of my life. I also got to meet Minnie Pearl (obviously not the real one but definitly a great tribute). I posted all the pictures up be sure to check those out. Well gotta run!

March 5, 2006- The acoustic performance at Calhoun Station is a small intimate setting, there will be two other performers one a new upcoming artist and the other a well known new Milwaukee band they will end the night. This locale is small, so you should try to arrive early to get a good seat. I hope to see everyone there... I also got the apartment in Nashville I really wanted it is amazing!
*K
February 28, 2006- I will be in Nashville on March 11. I have a job interview on the 13th, and I am awaiting approval on an apartment at this moment. I am so excited to be moving again, I have waited so long to be in Nashville. Here I come....lookout cowboys!!

February 25, 2006- Oh where to start.... I went to see the producer I was working with, and we got to talk a lot of business. We realized that we both are going different places and want different things. I went into this deal excited about it, and came out of it more excited to be moving again and being in the center of the music capital of the world. I have a long road ahead of me, and the possibilities are endless. I don’t know an exact date of when I am leaving, I am thinking around the week of the 13th. I will know more soon, check back. Thank you to everyone for their support and love esepecially with all these changes.... If you have any employment/singing gig information please contact me!! That would be very helpful!

January 8, 2006 - Ok well a lot has changed since December I am no longer moving to Nashville, because I am in the process of putting together a recording deal. It is through a Independent Major Label out of Michigan. I have met with the president/producer he is great, and has big plans for me and my music. I will be traveling at the beginning of February (not sure on location) to record my first CD, and hopefully by the end of March to have my first single on the radio. I will also be on a United States tour in the end of April until October or so. Everything is still in the works, however, for sure happening. As I learn more I will share all info I have. This is a crazy and trying time for me as I am in a wait and see state, I could get the call to move any day. I just want to again take a minute to thank everyone who has been behind me through everything this last year, from my huge fans to everyone who came all the shows and competitions, to my family and friends that are rooting for me every step of the way, to the people who have said I will be nothing and go nowhere thank you because you have given me and extra push to make everything happen that is coming to gether right now.Hi everyone.....well production on my demo has ceased right now. I decided it really wasn’t what I wanted, I think that I need to focus on writing, and learning guitar. November 12, 2005- Wow, today was the show at Espresso Love, so many people came out and saw me. That was so amazing thank you to everyone who made it out. I had a lot of fun. I did twenty songs and there were no major screw ups. Thank you to Espresso Love Coffee also, I wish I had more time to do another show , but there are only 49 more days left till I leave and I am trying to squeeze as much time with everyone as I can, so unfortunately I will not be able to do another one . Again thank you so much, it meant the world that you all came out and supported me for two hours. My grandma even came out and got to hear me for the first time, that was definitely the best part, I love you all.

August 5, 2005 - Hello, I made second place in the State Finals, which is second in the entire state. WOOH HOOH! I am pretty proud that means if the winner wasn't able to perform in
South Dakota I would then take their place that is cool. So well as you can see I added my original song to the Demo page, check it out. You probably need to Download Windows Media Player if you don't already have it. Alright a week away from the Semi Semi Finals of Walworth it should be fun. The venue is an outdoor festival; I will upload directions by the end of the weekend for anyone who wants to come out. Ta Ta For Now

July 27, 2005 - Oh my gosh, I had so much fun in the studio it was really great. I was a little nervous at first, but after the first run through it was like I had been recording in a studio my whole life. I got to hear the first doodles on the song, it sounds so great it really is amazing to hear yourself sing with the music that is your song. I can't wait to get the first copy, which I will have Friday the 29th. I will burn everyone copies and get them to you as soon as I can. The studio I am working with is Alternative Recording and his name is Pat. He wants to do a whole CD, and I am going to lay down four other songs. It probably won't be until September or October I have three ready to go I just need one more, so we'll see when that will be. I have the last and final chance to get into Colgate on July 29th.... wish me luck, also the second round of Walworth on the August 12. Talk to you all soon!!
*K
July 20, 2005 - Woo! Hoo!! I have an appointment to record my original with a professional recording studio in
Green Bay on Sunday July 24. They are going to make me a backing track on CD and also sheet music that I can use for the State Finals and Regional Finals (providing I make it that far.) So I am super excited that this company could get me in, they should have it done by the 29th so I can use it for the Appleton Colgate. I am being put ahead of some other clients just so they can get it done for me. So YEAH!! I will have a real complete song which is so amazing, can you believe that this time last year I had only a couple of songs written without any music and now I have one that is all together and can be copy written. I could not have even come this far without all of you who have came to see me even when it was hot, boring, and a long drive. You all have stood by me 100% even when I had doubts, thank you. I also want to give a special thanks to Kristi and Tim who helped push this recording session into full steam, Thank you so much. I can't wait to hear what the song sounds like with music, it should be great. Talk to you all real soon.
